What action should be taken if the QC test fails?/ What should I do if the QC test fails?

  1. If any QC test is a FAIL, then re-run the QC test for that specific control.
  2. If the second test is a PASS, then procedd to the next step of the QC test procedure. If this re-test was the last step in the process, and all other tests have also been successfully passed, then the NanoDx System is ready for use.

      Press "RESULTS" on the Main Menu and scroll through the results.  All QC tests are marked with a magnifying glass and will have the type (liquid or electronic) listed as well. Green row = pass, red row = invalid result or failure.

    • What if you fail QC testing two times in a row?

      Two failed Liquid QC on the same control (positive/negative) locks the Handheld from performing patient tests.  Four failed Electronic QC tests (two in a row per ETC) will lock the system from performing patient tests.
    • Where are patient test results dispayed?

      Patient results are displayed on the Handheld after the test is completed. You can find patient results on the "Results" screen on the home screen of the Handheld. Patient test results are also available in the NanoDx™ Customer Portal.
