• How much specimen should I put in the Cartridge?/ How much should you fill the Cartridge with specimen?

  Using the supplied specimen transfer device, dispense 75 microliters. 

• Should I dispose of the Cartridge after the test is completed?

  After the test is completed, the Cartridge, along with other disposables such as gloves and the swab used to obtain a patient specimen, should be disposed in a biohazard container. 

• What happens if the specimen expires?/ Can you run a test with expired specimen?

  Specimens must be run within 10 minutes of collection to ensure accurate readings by the Analyzer. Using a specimen collected more than 10 minutes prior to insertion in the Analyzer may not generate accurate test results. 

• Why is the Cartridge being ejected?

  Reasons the Cartridge is being ejected include: If the wrong Cartridge for the test is used (wrong serial number or test type) Cartridge box is expired Cartridge was previously used

• What if the Cartridge package won't scan?

  If the Cartridge package won't scan you can manually input the Cartridge serial, reference, and lot numbers into the Handheld.
